OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Sacred Heart is a family of Catholic disciples imitating the Heart of Jesus to obtain the ultimate goal of heaven. We aspire to serve the parish family and community through faith formation, sacraments & stewardship as we cultivate relationships with God and neighbor.

Knights of Columbus

Our Knights of Columbus Council is named after Fr. Emil Kapaun. The K of C was founded by Fr. Michael McGivney.

Flower Beds

Volunteer(s) are needed to take over care, development and maintenance of the flower beds around the rectory and church. This includes the Ivy bed N.E. of the Church, flower beds surrounding the Rectory, and the Holy Family flower bed behind Rectory. 

Homeless Shelter

New Hope Homeless Shelter in Newton depends on the area churches to provide evening meals and spend the evening at the shelter. Our parish has 2 evenings 5 times a year. Please call Jean Anne Gleason at 316-250-8276 if you are interested or have questions.
